Day 23, 24

Laramie, WY to visit our friend Sadie!!  After spending most of the day talking to McCormick's  auto body repair shop (Loveland, CO) we were thrilled to be once again on our way!! Laramie was having their yearly jubilee days!  We walked downtown and took in the cowboy culture and local foods.

Circus and rides!

Lots of crazy graffiti in the alleyways.

Clouds hanging over the town...

Sadie and her friend Candice made us a wonderful dinner of gourmet, fish taco salads and chocolate cheesecake that night.  It was sooo delicious!  The next morning we all went out to breakfast checked out the building where Sadie works (couldn't get in to see the bug collection...poo) and watched the locals parade by on their horses and tractors.

Candice's cute dog Rooky was very sweet and well mannered.

Why not ride a bull in a parade?

There must have been over 60 horses in the parade altogether.  I lost count.

 Other paraders!

It was really awesome to see Sadie again and get a little taste of small town Wyoming!

Todd and I were in a hurry to get to old Ioway, so we left that afternoon and drove over night through Nebraska.  That evening Todd got to hear cicadas and see lighting bugs for the first time!
